I have paste type food color, like for coloring icing, but I have never tried to color coconut. I am trying to make a bunny cake for Easter, but I am not sure exactly how to go about it. Any suggestions would be great.

Put your coconut in a ziplock bag and using a toothpick, put your coloring into the center of the coconut. Close the ziplock bag and mix the coconut together until you get the desired color. This works well, because your hands don't get colored, and you can keep adding coloring until it is right.
Happy Easter!

Put the coconut on a plastic baggy then you put drops of food coloring --then close the baggy and knead until you get the color you are looking for
