have a big event looming large for which you want to have clear skin? Head to a dermatologist, who can give you a cream to reduce the inflammation or put an injection into the pimple (ouch!) to make it go away more quickly.
Also try eye drops. The medicine in the drops constricts blood vessels and the redness in your eyes goes away. This may help your pimple redness also.

Everybody is bound to have a pimple occasionally, and when this occurs try to do the least amount of damage possible by popping white heads correctly and not causing scarring. Sephora makes an excellent wand for correctly popping whiteheads (about $16). Additionally, if a pimple is not ready to be popped, or was just popped, slather it with a heavy application of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream. However, wait until it dries so it will accurately stay in place.

First of all, don't pinch, squeeze or rub at them. That will make it worse. Wash with gentle cleanser and cool water. You could put the toothpaste on at night. That might help some. The ice pack might help reduce the swelling. Use the make-up only as a last resort. It will clog your pores and make acne worse.
Consider investing in some high quality skincare products. Clinique is my favorite, but it's pricey. Neutrogena and Johnson & Johnson are cheaper but still pretty good.

Get over yourself and be patient. Sheesh.
You were advised correctly by those KIND enough to answer you originally re toothpaste and eye drops. Its not an INSTANT fiz - just keep applying 4-5 times a day, and you will notice a difference.
Or go to a pharmacy & ask the question.

Get some triple antibiotic ointment (there are generics of the name brands in every drug store) to put on the pimple. That will help clear up the redness.
