Obviously we are not in December but how do you all pass your Christmas? Personally I don't celebrate Christmas at all, I just continue with my life.

Just because you are an atheist doesn't mean you don't share Christian culture. Anyways Christmas doesn't really have much to do with god anymore (i.e. Christmas trees, Santa). Christmas is more about tradition and if you had a fun childhood with presents and family you would celebrate Christmas too.

We do "christmas", but more in a pagan sense. We are a family with many generations of Atheists.
Santa comes and we put out carrots for the reindeer. We put up a tree and invite our family over. We open presents and eat too much food. We also do Hanukkah . We play dreidel and review the Jewish history. We do Solstice as well.
We do "easter", but it is all about the bunnies and the chocolate.
I think we just enjoy celebrations. :)

Christmas is an all-American Holiday. We even have a little manger scene under our tree. The kids play with Jesus just like Barbie. Doesn't mean for a minute that he's real. At least not any more real than Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny.

Well it is a federally mandated statutory holiday, so I don't have a whole lot of choice about closing my office, etc.

In the past, I have frequently volunteered to work an ER shift for colleagues who have children or are very religious, in exchange for a future trade for my benefit of course.

Usually I have dinner with family or friends. My wife and I don't have kids, so we have never really gone "whole hog" into Xmas stuff. Sometimes we do a tree and lights, usually we exchange a few gifts, but that's about it.

Yes, I struggle with this. We still have lots of Christian family members who care a lot about the holiday, so we are respectful of that. I guess it's like Thanksgiving with presents. A winter celebration of sorts? I should learn more about the pagan winter celebrations - they are probably more up my alley.

I enjoy celebrating secular Christmas.. and to be honest, Christmas is not a threat. It's Pagan!

Good food and lots and lots of presents. I know that sounds sad but it's true. Also getting together with my family (which is the best part). In this day and age religion isn't really present in holidays anymore.

I celebrate christmas with family and friends. There is no religious significance tied to it what so ever for me.

My family is Catholic so out of respect I go to Midnight Mass with them....they enjoy me being there and I don't have a problem with it.

The next day we open gifts and enjoy watching the children be surprised...then we have dinner together.

It's not necessary for me to make a big deal....both sides respect each others beliefs or non-beliefs.
