*blink* But... it isn't a lie.

Look, I suggest you do a little light reading and catch yourself up on reality:

Because it's about the evolution/creation debate, I'll handle it that way. Religion is the biggest confusion ever. I'm not saying religion was a lie, but because of the compounding evidence against it, it starts to look like so. We can't really blame the stone age people for making up the gods many still believe in, because they had no way to know any better. Science is only a way to find out about our environment, and evolution is part of that. There are over 200.000 of scientific research publications that give evidence for evolution. There's nothing that gives evidence the other way around.
If you see evolution as a lie, you might as well see the whole of science as a lie: the world is flat and rests on pillars, as the bible prescribes, the sun revolves around the earth and so does the rest of the universe.
My advice to you is to come back to earth.

First off new taxonomic groups can not be created through evolution If you have proof of that then you will be getting a Nobel Prize next time around. BIGGEST LIE out there and still can not be proven. It has been proven hundreds of times. I mean seriously this is the only truth about evolution. EVERYTHING else is false. Funny, a few million scientists seem to disagree. BUT you push it and say eventually through a series of many macroevolutions it would eventually create a new taxonomic group. NOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAYYYYY ! Imagination ! And your proof other than your unsupported opinion? If you believe evolution would create new taxonomic groups then simply prove it. Beefalos, Ligers, Leopons, Grolar, Wolfin, Zebroid, Cama, some which have already produced offspring. It helps if yo have the slightest idea about which you speak when you do.

You are acting like the atheist. Everyone thinks that evolution is only from animal to human. What if evolution was from human to something more god-like? Humans do evolve. Adam and Eve (or the Wright brothers -- for the atheist) didn't have the technology to get to the moon. Evolutions is evident.
So, evolution isn't really a lie, is it?

so i was browsing through all of your questions and i have come to an interesting conclusion....you are a right wing christian fundamentalist.....does that sum you up.

With that conclusion met i have discovered that it will be nearly impossible to have a coherent and intellectual conversation with you....but i will try.

ok, Evolution is not a lie. It is a theory but in reality it is the most logical explanation to how we have become human-beings and the processes that brought us here. You obviously don't believe this and i'm sure you never will so why do you ask. Do you have doubts on your faith, is that why you are so curious, if so then you can talk to anyone about it outside of Answers. Other then that you have no need or right to ask questions like this. If you are so secure with what you believe in then by all means go on living your naive and ignorant life, that would be just fine with me. But if you continue to ask such stupid and ignorant questions on a daily basis you are going to continue to receive intelligent answers to your truly idiotic questions. And i assure you that these answers will not be to your liking. Mabe all you need is for someone to agree with you, if so I suggest you lock yourself in a closet....away from clearthinking people, and have a meaningful conversation with yourself. I'm sure you will recieve the answers you are looking for.

Before answering this question, you may want to ponder some other facts AND questions:

1. Isn't the primary issue surrounding creationism vs. evolution one of time; i.e., how LONG was required to complete our process of becoming human?

2. Do you believe there is a God, and that God exists from everlasting to everlasting, omnipotent and omniscient?
Answer: If not, we MUST have "evolved." If so, proceed to question 3.

3. Do you believe that God really created the universe in 6 days?
Answer: If not, we MUST have "evolved." If so, proceed to question 4.

4. Before there WAS an Earth to rotate on its axis once every 24 hours, how long was a day?
Answer: If you have answered "Yes" to questions 2 and 3, it should be obvious to you that it was AS LONG AS GOD SAID IT WAS!!

Conclusion: I see no conflict between the biblical account of creation and the scientific findings appearing to validate the theory of evolution.

It also seems to me that we might pay more attention to the central message of Jesus' ministry on Earth, as described in the Bible; one that did not appear to be very clearly understood, even by those who associated with him most closely, his disciples: "Don't sweat the small stuff!"

In the end, isn't the whole issue of where we came from rather trivial? Seems to me we already know we are here; therefore, it is more important to consider where we are going.

I'm still confused why people who believe in the theory of creation can't accept, even if you think God created the world, that evolution can, and does happen. Those things aren't mutually exclusive. Where did it say in the bible that god made animals incapable of adapting to their surroundings? It doesn't, also quite clearly species can become extincted because........well lots of them have, and some are about to. So what is it with the pointless arguments against it?

Yes. Evolution would be completely in line and supportive of Intelligent design. In fact, Evolution tends to prove Intelligent Design.

If you were to be able to design a machine, would you not do so in a manner to insure it's continuance.

Is it that the machine, being flesh and blood, proof of superior technology, is difficult to understand as being a machine as opposed to ones limited understanding of a machine as being metal, gears, nuts, and bolts?

If I designed an interstellar vehicle would I not, to the best of my limited ability, attempt to insure it's survival by taking into account all possible variables that could damage it? How much better could an all powerful God make such a machine, a machine that the Bible states is merely a tent in which we dwell?

If you look around there are things evolving all around you. The human mind is more evolved now than it was. Someone you can't see and hear better. Animals also evolve. Fish that live in caves can't see because they have no light. animals that can't find food on land will move to water. Evolution is a fact of life. Now did we come from apes. I don't know I wasn't there to see it.

Yes, such a big lie that we rig biology whenever we run experiments to make it observable, spread the false information about this "DNA" junk, planted artificially created fossiles, and generally made evolution, and the natural emergent complexity of the universe in which things that don't prosper simply fade away while the ones that do self-propegate the best argument for the existance of God.

Our conspiracy is absolute.

Evolution is a fact based scientific theory. Now christinanity is the biggest lie ever, no facts or evidence, but yet the christer handlers tell them god is real.
