THERE are So Many HERE = = asking for Proof of Christianity = = BEFORE THEY would Believe!

Here is the Proof, "not a parable", but A True Story By JESUS!

Parables DO NOT CONTAIN PROPER NAMES!

(Luke 16:29-to-31) Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
(Luk 16:30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
(Luk 16:31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

AND

(Luke 16:15-16-17) And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
(Luk 16:16) The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
(Luk 16:17) And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

If you do not believe these verses now, you will one day, and I pray that it is before you die- because that day will be too late- ONE DAY EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE CONFESS THAT JESUS IS LORD TO THE GLORY OF GOD THE FATHER. Either you will kneel now and live forever in His presence, or kneel then and time to choose will be over.

Hi Bro,
We have tasted and seen - we experience the evidence.
The Bible also speaks of the evidence as you have so rightly put here.
Read Romans chapter 1 v 18-20
and
1 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 18-21

Man has no excuse whatsoever for not knowing God.
Even newly discovered tribes seek to worship or appease a "supreme Being", who the Bible says is God.
We know the truth, because the truth has set us free!

We know that man is aware of God because he was created by God to know and answer to Him.

Anyone that believes the ego-maniacal god of the old testament could possibly even come close to an omniscient, omnipotent, just and loving GOD needs a serious reality check.

Christianity is merely the practice of a religious dogma. It is indeed a fact. What is in question is dogma that christianity is based on. That is what offers no proof. And since the bible is the basis of the dogma, quoting from it does not constitute a proof but merely quotes dogma.

I don't know how that proves Christianity. Everyone here knows there is Christianity. It doesn't prove God exists, just that there are people who believe in Him. Also, quoting scripture doesn't prove anything except the fact that it shows you can retype something. If you want to quote scripture, fine, but make it relevant to the question, and explain why it's relevant.

Of course parables can contain proper names. If I insisted that Scientologists were correct by basing my questions upon Hubbard's "Dianetics", would that make my assertion any more the truth? There are parables with names like Jesus and God throughout the Bible. How can you just choose one out of all the rest and insist upon its truth? You can no more prove Christianity to me by quoting the Bible than I could prove Judaism to you by quoting the Torah.

That one deserves a drink. ~~*Downs a fifth of scotch*~~ Aaaaahhhh.

THIS IS NOT PROOF. THIS IS QUOTATION FROM THE BIBLE. THIS DOESN'T PROVE SQUAT.

For Pete's sake, people, if you have something resembling PROOF, any atheist will be more than happy to look at it, listen to it, and admit they were wrong for not believing. But you had better bring us something resembling proof. Quoting a 2000 year old middle-eastern man who's saying that we'd better believe does not prove Christianity, and it doesn't prove there's a God. Stop throwing this nonsense at us and calling it proof. It just makes you lose credibility.

Please read your New Testament more closely and try to comprehend that you cannot convince people whose hearts have not been opened by the grace of God to find God.

Pray for grace for people here. Or BE gracious and help them find grace.
