i have a lab who was mated with another lab on day 10 of her season, the male lab had been neutered 10 day prior ( accidental mating)
she still has a slight swollen vulva, enlarged nipples, loves to cuddle more, she has slight swelling under her rib cage. she is on day 28 now. She has also lost a little bit of fur around her nipples. She seems hungry all the time now. Her season did seem to stop very quicky usually lasts about 3-4 weeks by day 15 she has no discharge what so ever

What you are seeing may be false pregnancy in your Lab, doesnt matter when the other dog was nutered once they are they can no longer produce sperm. So even if they did mate she could not get pregnant by that dog.
Are you positive she didnt mate with another dog???? Also females heat do not just stop once they have matted, they go through the complete cycle no matter what.
To be sure whats going on take her into the vets for a check up.

If the male was neutered and she didn't mate any other dog then NO!! After castration the male ceases to have the ability to produce sperm. It may be possible that she is suffering a pseudopregnancy (false pregnancy). I would book an appointment with a vet, they will give a health examination and give you an answer.

If he was fixed then she did not get pregnant by him anyway. My brother has a dog that after she went into heat once she started to produce milk and everything. She thought she was preg, but she was not after about 2 weeks she quit having symtoms. That is what it sounds to me like your dog is doing. Dogs are pegnant for 58-63 days so if she if preg and it has been 28 days since her mating you will notice her gaining alot of weight in the next week or two if not good chance she is not pregnant. You can take her to a vet and he can tell you for sure though.

she could be having what they call a false pregnancy, with false pregnancies she will go thru all the same symptoms as if she was really pregnant. you may even be able to squeeze milk from nipples, once she hits the 42 day mark in a possible pregnancy u can take her to the vet and have them xray or sonogram her.

yes she could be. because the male still has live sperm in his system for about a month. after about 4 weeks have your vet to check her to see if he feels any puppies inside.

you'll find out soon, i think its 90 days for a dog to deliver, but if she starts sleeping in an unusal area that she hasnt slept in before then I would think she is. she'll be looking for some type of cushions so that the babies will be warm and safe. Just keep and eye on here and if she wants water give it to her.

possibly, you could take her to the vet to find out more about the males fertility at that point.

I think you need to take your dog to the vet instead of asking us.
