Army...Chaplains' Aide. Oops....my cousin is an Army Chaplin and he and his Aid have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan....as well as Italy.
Every MOS is subject to deployment, overseas assignment or both.

There is not an MOS in the Army that does not deploy, even the Army band deploys. There are some jobs that are "safer" than others but there is an element of danger no matter what MOS you have when you are in a war zone. If you are planning on joining the military with that attitude right off the bat, don't even bother because you won't make it through basic training.

I cant speak for the US Army. I do not know of a MOS in the USMC that would fit that criteria.
I am sure that they exist, its just the ones that do are so infrequent that not too many people know about them. So I would just assume that deployments will happen if you join the Marines. Most units have a deployment rotation during peace time.

There are none. Even war zones need people with menial MOS's like the cooks and pencil pushers. They may not do any fighting, but nevertheless, they are in the thick of it dodging bullets and artillery like the regular grunts.

We deploy by Brigades, not by MOS. Every Brigade has nearly every MOS. It wasnt just 11b in his unit that deployed, it was everyone.

There are none. Just join and if you have to deploy, so be it. It will give you a great life experience to tell your grandkids when you get old.
