Well, I'm about that height and 115, and I'm not very happy with my body at the moment. But I'm not overweight, so you probably aren't either. You're at a pretty good weight, but to increase your confidence with swimsuit season, try to start watching your fat and calorie intake. Cut out all that junkfood in your diet, and start exercising. Running is a great way to lose weight and grow more fit, and is a great confidence booster. Maybe start lifting weights, working out on a bowflex, etc. Workouts and diets like these can make you improve both your health, your confidence [especially if you want to wear a bikini!], and the way your body looks. And by doing this you won't get super skinny like those anorexic celebrities and stuff, but you'll actually be strong, and have some muscle, which is great!

DO NOT TAKE A DIET PILL!!!
Diet Pills are really bad for you in every way. And they mess with your metabolism and make you dependent on them. So like after you loose the 10 or so pounds that you wanted and stopped taking them you will just gain it right back and then some extra pounds. also they will mess things up for you when you get older. Exercise is the best way to loose weight and get in shape.
That is a healthy weight for your Hight.
if you exercise for at least an hour 5 days a week, Doing Cardio And strength training you should tone up. This should help you feel more secure about wearing a bikini.

Good Luck. Be Safe

You did not state your bone structure or age, those make a difference.

For example; a person who is small boned, is under 35 and gets regular exercise (so as to not have too much body fat), 120 would be a good weight. As we age, that number goes up as our body fat increases and we become more sedintary. Also, is your weight evenly distributed; not too much on the bottom, middle or top? That also makes a difference. Some people are bottom heavy but are a good weight, so take that into consideration.

If you have a gut that hangs over your bikini bottom, I'd say choose another bathing suit that compliments your figure. But at 5'2" and 120, I assume you are not in that category.

You are a good weight right now, don't go any smaller, you don't want to look like Nicole Ritchie all bones sticking out in your suit, you want to look good and curvy but not too heavy, so I would just work on toning things up, like firming up, which is pretty easy, if you walk alot that will tone your legs, push ups will work on your arms, and sit ups for your abs. so many people lose too much weight and honestly they look unhealthy and awful.

There is a dietary supplement which addresses your specific concern, it worked for me! It's called "RELACORE", besides being a great weight loss supplment it kicks belly fat butt, if you catch my drift! Now, losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca... This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.
