1. Only with respect to changes in our DNA, but it has nothing to do with life. The science is suspect at best. If the theory (and it is a theory, not a set of facts) was true, there would be no fish, no monkeys, orangutans, or baboons. Secondly, it is theory based on predetermined events, therefore intelligent thinking would not exist, which is exactly what this theory suggests it is. Can't have it both ways. Even Darwin struggled with the evolution of intelligence.
Remember, this was a theory developed before we determined that the earth has changed abruptly many times in the past, that carbon dating only has a life of about 45,000 years (assuming the atmospheric pressure was steady and earth science suggests it has been anything but steady) and even as recent as 2001 the thinking around radiocarbon-14 has changed.
Lastly, evolution does not explain life itself. I did not evolve. I was born and will die. In between, I will have independent thoughts and make my own decisions. Evolution has no explanation for this.
2. Texas
3. I'm a realist. Politicians, by nature of our system, are egotistical beyond belief and cannot perform the job they intend because of the lobbying and pressure of being in power. From a government point of view, I support smaller federal government and much more local control. If I had to pick one of your choices, I would be a liberal conservative who believes everyone has equal rights but must hold their own in this society. Each of us has a moral responsibility to take care of each other, and not be forced to do so.
