You'd think they'd record the son of god's childhood right? why didn't they keep close records of god's son. I mean if your god had a son why wouldn't you want to write about his whole life.

His childhood is recorded concerning His circumcision,(Luke 2:21) His being taken in to Egypt to escape Herod,(Matthew 2:13-23) His challenge of the scholars in the temple at age 12, (Luke 2:40-49) and the recordings that He grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God.(Luke 2:40, Luke 2:52) His main purpose on earth was His ministry, His teachings, His sinless life, His crucifixion, and His resurrection, which IS what the Bible focuses on.Phillipians 2:5-11, explains why God exalts his son and how He wants us to acknowledge what He did for us.

Mary held many things in her heart until the time came for Jesus to start his ministry. She did not write down all the events of His childhood because it was not important.

Probably because it was pretty ordinary. Most of His earthly life was ordinary. He came to live as one of us. Probably the first unusual thing He did was at the age of 12, when He debated the priests in the temple. That is recorded in the Bible.

Because his mission didn't begin until he was baptized...then he began teaching and calling people. The Bible records the teachings of Christ, his ministry among us, his death and resurrection. It isn't necessary to record his childhood.

It wasn't relevent to His ministry. His teachings and his purpose were the focus of His life. I imagine His childhood was pretty ordinary; life of a carpenter.

NEED TO KNOW.....?

All you need to know about JESUS, is in His Word, the BIBLE!

(Luke 13:1-to-5) There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.

(Luk 13:2) And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?

(Luk 13:3) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

(Luk 13:4) Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?

(Luk 13:5) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

IF you choose Not To Obey THAT, why would ONE need More Information?

Thanks, RR

It might be that the focus of Jesus attention was to teach and preach. To accomplish his mission as best he could.
