There was a young man in my community who had a following
of local university and community college student Christians
after he began claiming that bank cash machines would give him money if specials prayers were first offered. The news
was announced in a weekly publication. The very next issue
reported him in custody for duping both a particular bank and
fellow believers of Jesus. The arrest occured just as the suspect had extracted illicit monies and told the cash machine, 'Amen.'

i do if i have had half a lager (thats all i need to get tipsy) and use the cash machine, i always say thankyou and ask if he has anymore, yes my cash machine is male!

Understand exactly where you're coming from... and yes. Frequently. Do the same at tills and checkouts.
PS I also thank the bus driver when I get off the bus - gets you some weird looks in London.

Yes. Always be polite. They are watching us. One day when the machines rise and take over, they will remember and those of us polite will be able to serve them instead of the cruel painful death they will subject to those of you who do not.

Yes ! I said thank you as i put the money in my purse ! My friend nearly wet herself laughing and i felt a right plonker as there was a queue !
