i mean i like the popularity but i could do with out the boys.. what do you suggest?

Tell them you are not interested in dating.You could put your hair back up. You could tell them you are not interested. You could smile and say thank you for the compliments and go on. You could say, thanks but no thanks. If they bug you or make you feel uncomfortable, just tell them. Tell them you appreciate the attention, but it is not wanted at this time. If it is inappropriate attention, tell them "That is not appropriate, and I will not tolerate inappropriate behavior". You could just smile and go on, ignore them. They would eventually quit. I believe in the upfront confrontation. Telling them as you feel.

I've noticed that a lot of guys prefer girls who wear their hair long -- with the exception of a few sexy, stylish short hairstyles. It's possible that guys have just been noticing you more since you started putting your hair down because I think guys think it's much more feminine and ladylike for a girl to wear her hair down.
If you don't want all the attention, you can always put your hair back up! Honestly, though, you should try to make the best of it. Use the opportunity to make friends and maybe the experience won't be all too bad. Best of luck!

Put your hair back up? half pny tail half down. Or just tell them to stop flirting, u must being doing something else to encourage them

i wish i had that kind of luck, just hang wit ur friends a lot when u walk down the hall. most guys wont come up to you if you are with your friends cuz they could do without the audience. and if they keep going bout it...just tell them to "buzz off" (to put it in PG terms)

i don't know what to suggest except own it. you must look nice with your hair down and they notice it. if its really bothering you then wear your hair up and don't flirt back

oh, come on!!! what girl doesn't like a parade of guys chasing her? get real!! if you are seriously annoyed by the guys, then just put your hair up again.
