I haven't been able to work for about a week now due to being sick and having injured my back. I just found out that my sister has been telling people that I'm faking it & that she "knows" me & my boyfriend are having sex, and I'm probably pregnant. My mom just told me this, and she said that she told my sister that me & my boyfriend can't have kids because of some medication my bf is on.
My boyfriend's not on any meds, but we're not having sex either. If my sis talks to him before I do (he's at work right now), this could be a disaster. What do I do?????

she has a history of spreading pregnancy rumors about me... she's been doing it for years, finding new people to believe them.

Sounds like your sister is jealous of you or she wouldn't be spreading roomers about you. I would call her and tell her to keep her mouth shut if she has nothing nice to say or doesn't know any facts. Nothing about your personal life is any of her business whether is was true or not.
If your boyfriend "talks" to her first, she has it coming to her. It is none of her business if you choose to have sex or not with back problems. People can do that, there are ways. Tell her to stay out of any personal business of yours. I wouldn't tell her anything she doesn't need to know.
You can tell her you love her as a sister. Tell her you love her more if she stops spreading rumors that she has no knowledge of.

Confront the chick, let her know what you know and ask her why she did it. If her answer is cold and evil then get her back, but then again there really is no right reason for doing that. Do ya guys get along? cause if ya don't then this could be an ongoing thing and this probably wont be the last time she'll do this sooooo stop her before theres a situation.

Seriously, I know this hurts as I have one of those sisters also.
Tell your boyfriend all the stuff she is talking. Why are you worried about his reaction? Will he hit her? (hint hint) Will he leave you? If he leaves then good bye, and good luck to him. I would tell him and tell her to go to that hot place where she will wind up any way.
She is a jealous cow and wants to keep things stirred up because it keeps the focus on her and her misery and not you and your happiness.
Treat her like a long long long lost relative and only converse with her when all other avenues have failed.

A disaster how? Dont do anything. As long as your boss knows your not faking thats all that matters. If your e worried about your boyfriend getting mad and doing something about it, sorry but your sister deserves it. She sounds like a nut case.

I am wondering why anyone is involved in your relationship outside of you and your boyfriend. If sisters / moms / etc want to meddle in other's issues, it tells you a lot about them. Step in and tell everyone to mind their own business, especially if they don't know the truth.

Tell your boyfriend of your ailnesses. He'll understand and if he doesn't well he's a jerk for trusting your sister and not you. Speaking of your sister I'd talk to her as well. Good luck.
