So, what is the problem? Ask him if he would like to go out with you sometime, and then you will know if he has feelings for you. If you and your brother are close, talk to your brother, and ask him what he thinks, but if I were you, I would simply just ask your brothers friend if he would like to go out.

Look, your brother is going to be really upset if you go out with his friend, at least at first. But the reality is that if you and his friend really do have something, it's going to happen, and should happen.
The only thing is you have to tell your brother, not beforehand, but first person after you start dating. Let him deal with it, and remember that guys need friend time to, so don't be too clingy if occasionally they still hang out without you.
One last thing, if you go out with him, and it doesn't work, don't hold it against either of them. Let them still be friends if that's how it goes.

I had this problem about a year ago. I told his brother, who is one of my best friends and he was like "umm don't think it's a great idea, forget about him" which was strange cos it wasn't like he was disapproving, just weird.
After what seemed like forever his brother (the one I really liked) came out and told me he was gay! His brother (who knew) thought I would be really mad at him for not telling me but I felt strangely relieved, like "at least I wasn't rejected"!

yeah thats a hard one, a friend of mine started going out with my sister, we weren't necesarily friends for a bit but we weren't all mad at each other, well he wasn't lol I was a jerk. But I guess if ya like him that much then why not, If your brother has a problem I'm sure he'll let him know lol I did

well how old are you?....
honestly I dont think theres anything wrong the fact he is ur brothers best friend.. i mean it could cause jelousy issues between you and your brother...but just think. it'd be like 1 big family.. at least your family knows him and hes around :D

well if u really like him than go for it what can u lose good luck or try talking to your brother about it and see what he says at least u would know what he thinks you dont have to listen to him good luck again
