Many non-Catholics attend Catholic faith-based schools without an issue. They usually make some accommodation for whatever faith you practice, but you will probably be responsible for participating in some religious discussions/classes. There might be some "slights" socially by some of the old school, entrenched families - but I am sure you will find friends and get what you are looking for -- a good education!

All the best --

No you don't have to be catholic to attend a Catholic school. I went to Catholic school for elementary and junior high school. There are activities such as confession, and bible study, I refrained from confession because I was not Catholic. The nuns and the priests are aware that not everyone is Catholic and they respect that. I hope this helps ya!

No you don't have to be Catholic to go to a Catholic school.

However, do remember, though some of the faculty at your school may claim they're Catholic, their 'theology' may NOT be Catholic. Don't think that your profs. are 'talking' for the Catholic view in science, sociology, theology, or history, etc. If they diverge from anything that is KNOWN Catholic--just keep my little paragraph in the back of your mind--they're not speaking for the Church.

No, you do not need to be Catholic to go to any Catholic school except a seminary.

That includes:
+ Preschool
+ Elementary school
+ Middle school
+ High school
+ College

With love in Christ.

No you don't but you will be required to take a religion class. It can be more philosophy related than directly religion but it will be required.
