A book shop maybe? I don't know where you are, but bilingual English dictionaries tend to be quite easy to find in most book shops abroad (true of France and Germany)because English tends to be one of the most commonly-learned second languages. If you have to learn English in school, I would imagine that English dictionaries are quite easy to find in your country (I'm assuming that you're not a native English-speaker). However, you can also buy them from www.amazon.co.uk. If you're looking for a monolingual dictionary and you learn British English, I would recommend the Oxford English Dictionary.

Are you referring to dictionaries like Merriam Webster's? There are many versions.
Try a local bookstore. If you have access to the Internet and feel comfortable ordering one on-line, you can go to Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com or Borders.com
Sometimes, you can find decent dictionaries in a second-hand bookstore as well.

All bookshops stock dictionaries in a variety of languages. Failing that - try using Amazon's online service, they'll have lots of English dictionaries available that you can purchase.

i like the Harper Collins novices ESL Dictionary and generally advise it to my ESL pupils. although, in case you're already employing the Cobuild dictionary and you think of you desire something extra, the Harper Collins would be too uncomplicated for you. you may probable make the main of one for interior sight audio equipment. there are various low-priced unabridged English dictionaries which you would be able to get in recent times. I have been given one for approximately $25 on the coolest purchase table at Borders or Barnes and Noble. in case you reside outdoors of the U.S., you may probable get one on line.
