my computer speakers aren't working?

ok well my computer speakers aren't working what should i do? i think its the sound or something cuz if i plug in headphones u can't hear nothin!

If it's not a volume problem...go to control panel and select sound&audio devices..select hardware and then troubleshoot..

Turn up the volume - right click on the little speaker icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen. By the clock.
