There were many books that never got published. They had to do with Jesus as a teenager and as a young adult. Growing up and learning about his powers. Whats up with that?

They had to get their story straight so they could found a church, fleece the parishoners, and abuse the choir boys! The catholic church is the longest running fraud in history! The closest runner-up is the Democrat Party.

The 27 books of the New Testament were widely accepted by the members of the early church long before the leaders got around to proclaiming them the canon.

Just like today, there were all kinds of pseudo-Christian groups coming up with "interesting" doctrine and writing gospels to back them up. The group called Gnostics wrote the gospel of Judas in this way.

The four Gospels that were chosen were the only ones to be written in the first century and by either the original Apostles or their close companions.

The mainstream Christians of the day had absolutely no problem with the 27 books selected as canon.

With love in Christ.

Pastor Billy says: there is a grave assumption here with this question which is whatever someone writes they write in truth. The Christian Church (Catholic) as the depositor of God's revelation has as part of it's duty to correct heresy and practice orthodoxy. In a time when books were preceived as magical similar to your preception today it would have been very dangerous for the circulation of heretical material to have occurred. Much confusion has happened since the Protestant reformation and Christianity has become divided instead of united because of heretical thought. The fact is the Coptics (Egyptian) Church have certain traditions pertaining to Christ's teenage years as he would have been in Egypt for part of that time. Yet the Coptics do not have a canon of scripture at great variance with that of the Catholic Church if your theory of wrong doing held any merit we would think otherwise.

Most of the Books not included in the Bible were relating to the fact that God is everywhere and does not need huge churches and cathedrals and gold goblets and and and!
Well they didn't want to print themselves out of a livelyhood did they ??
Also they included the details of Jesus clearly saying that he has been sent by God, with the word of God, (not God's Son) or God Himself as some of them have written in various Bibles.

Hope that Helps!

You write this as if Jesus did not know about his 'power' (divinity) until He was growing up...this isn't "Spiderman" or "X Men" here.

Jesus knew of his dual natures, divinity and human right from the beginning.

There are many books that are available about the known tradition of Jesus, they aren't hidden.

Where do you get all your information?

ive read some of the books that were not included in the bible we use these days .. some i can see why coz i dont sense they are written by someone inspired by the Holy Spirit .. others seem ok but what is included in what we have is enough imo ... some of the books not included simply re-state and rephraze what is included in other books ...

Not true. The catholics have tried to put everything they could find into the Bible. They managed to get some in around 1560 or so.

A lot of stuff wasn't included because it detracted from the image of Jesus that the church wanted to promote.
