No. My husband and I spoil each other silly, and it makes us both happy.
What's wrong is to be ungrateful, or self-centered to an unhealthy degree. If someone like a parent or spouse wants to be extravagantly generous with you, there's no shame in accepting what they give you, but always remember to be just as extravagant with your appreciation and love in return.
