I watched it and have to say brother that when he spoke of the little boy in Egypt greeting him with Asalam Allikum it brought tears to my eyes. I think it was a lovely piece of footage and he was very honest when talking about Islam before and after. And what else i liked was the presenter a very sweet Muslim lady not only that but presenting a show and talking to a man (but wait a minute we are all repressed and forced to stay home and not have career, arnt we?)
Well done brother a very nice link. I enjoyed it very much and Insha Allah he guides us all with greater knowledge.

If you listened to the first part of the video he said that he left the Catholic Church. So basically he wasn’t a “Priest” when he went to Egypt and seen Islam. I could quote his words BUT listen for your self in the first few minutes… He had no idea about Muslims after he quit the Priesthood and Catholic Church, he was upset and went on holiday to Egypt.

Now, Islam or Muslims can be very nice and fine people. Just like anyone else in the world. But this video has the making of a propaganda feel to it.

Ask yourself these questions.

WHY is this person going public about his new found faith in a different religion?
MY answer would be this: It sounds to me that Islam is trying to “CONVERT” many people of other religions to their religion. Truly this happens in OTHER religions. So no big issue here.

Why was this a BRITISH supposedly “VICAR” that converted?
My Answer: Well, I’ve never heard of a priest called vicar, but I am from the states. He WASN’T a vicar like the woman says because he QUIT the priesthood BEFORE he even knew about ISLAM. This is to INFUSE into the Britons that ISLAMIC people are good or maybe even BETTER. So if you are “LOST” with your current religion then try Islam. (Propaganda)

IF he was a CATHOLIC PRIEST it is a KNOWN fact that you learn ALL the Religions of the world and WHAT those beliefs have written in scripture. (My father was in the seminary for the Catholic priesthood but did not become a priest. It’s nothing shameful if you don’t, the years he spent there are to answer the BIG question. Do you WANT this life to be your own…) ANY priest would know Islam and a LOT of what the TEXTS say. So I find either this “EX PRIEST” had either a BAD education in seminary or he is not telling the “WHOLE STORY” about , AND I QUOTE, “ALL I KNEW ABOUT ISLAM WAS…..” Then he goes on to say about chopping off hands and being mean to women etc… My father never was a priest and he learned MORE than this guy who WAS supposedly a “VICAR” ?????????????

I suggest you look at the woman in the video. Either she is a VERY good woman of faith or she is in a situation where she HAS to wear something to cover her head in order not to inflame the irate people of the Islamic people.

but really what do we see
1 a lady in hijab(HEAD COVER)
it(the video) is not telling but it sounds was filmed in England
must realize that hi jab is a free choice
2 the lady sounds educated so hi jab is not for uneducated pple
3 tears .many pple would not know these tears but here some western had these tears
4 the ordinary Egyptian kid shows religion .so religion and fanatics two things do not meet
5 pple of free world .pple who fight foe freedom of speech
see how this is applied in Islam
you find nothing in the meting against Christianity or Jesus or moses
so look to the remades you western had on this video and judge for your selves

He was already mixed up before he went to Egypt. First of all he is an educated Brit. That alone makes him a prime suspect to get something very wrong-especially about Christianity or Islam. Second, not only is he Brit, but a catholic Brit. This means he is a catholic, but not really a catholic-get the picture. Third, he is a priest in a religion that he does not believe in. How confused can one be. To see someone with this guys resume' convert to Islam is no surprise. He is royally screwed up in the head.

Like all religions he believes that "human good" is the ultimate way to heaven and that everybody is really good so life is great. No more talk about his sinfulness and the grace of God that Christians emphasize.

First of all, thank you for posting the video. I have read many of his articles on islam.online but never really knew that this man is a revert. Anyway, from what I've seen, this man looks happy and content. That's all that matters to me. I'm very happy for him.

I watched part of it. What can I say? I do not push
any type of religion on anyone. I believe what I believe.

Subhanallah, bought tears to my eyes. Mashallah may Allah reward him and bless him and bestow mercy upon him. Another example of a preist converting is Yusuf estes. But mashallah this video was really good. Thanks brother. Hope people understood something from the video.
