I don't know, have been thinking about it lately and even Lennon was kind of a self-centered druggy who mentally abused people he should have cared for.I think all that talk of peace and love was what was selling at the time so that's what he talked about...sorry for getting off topic!

His work with the Beatles is enough in itself to make him more noteworthy than most of today's musicians in my opinion.
