Is there a global warming positive feed-forward loop which makes us in effect bring about climate catastrophe?

Scientists say that the poorest will be hit hardest - even in rich countries/regions. Everyone scrambles to get ready for something that can be avoided with proper measures, but in the scrambling to get ready because of fear, overuses, overstocks, over pillages the earth for preparation materials and cash?

The feedbacks (positive and negative) are still scientifically uncertain.

If there is positive feedback (most likely possibility, CO2 warms, causes more CO2 release from oceans) then Gore will have been exactly right. Otherwise the more conservative IPCC report will be closer to reality.
