It's one of the 3 days of the year (Thanksgiving and Christmas being the other two) where I can eat what I want. So it's all about ham, mashed potatoes and Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs with my family.
I will eat nothing but salad next week.

Easter Sunday afternoon and evening are all about family and friends and food! Depending on how many services I've sung in the recent days, I might take an hour nap in the early afternoon before people arrive. After that, it's lots of food (always ham for dinner!) and talking and just enjoying each other's company.
We do have a tradition that sprung up about 10 years ago with the "in betweeners" (those who were 17-25) - after dinner and dessert and everything, we'd go out and see a movie. I'm suprised more people don't do this - the theaters are EMPTY!

Wear flower wreaths, let the kids color thier eggs, read the rite of Spring, plant flowers and herbs in our garden, paint pictures of baby animals, and when the kids go to sleep for the evening, celebrate the birth of the Season of The New by copulating copiously with my husband. Why, what do you do?

Get naked and dance around in the woods singing songs welcoming the spring and the rebirth of the trees and flowers with my Pagan friends because it is a PAGAN festival and has nothing to do with christianity.

I go to church, then come home and prepare dinner. Much of it I have already done as the entire family comes to my house.
They ( some of them bring a dish). The children hunt eggs over and over again.
