christians and muslims believe in Jesus but in a different way but ironically as i've believed that Jesus was a Jew (forgive me and correct me if i'm wrong) but why do Jewish people have different perception of Jesus?

Jews like Muslims believe that Jesus was a great man, a prophet but not the "Son of God". Jews like Muslims believe in only one GOD. Claiming that Jesus is God is a violation
of what they believe in. Of course Christians believe that Jesus is an aspect of God. The Messiah that the ancient Hebrews believed in was not meant to be the "Son of God".
But again Jesus was a great man.

I would like to add to what I've wrote above a few days ago. I'm sad to read the other answers. They show a lack of understanding. I think what we need is a lot more tolerance. Tolerance to other people's religions and tolerance to other people who disagree with us. Maybe then the world would be a better place. I hope this is a help to you.

Muslims don"t Believe Jesus was and Is the Son of God,
God has Chosen Jewish Race thru which to Reveil HimSelf to Man.The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob.thru the Jewish Sages have Recorded and written the Word and preserved it down thru the Ages,The "Church" has persecuted the Jews ,Thinking they are doing the Work of the Lord,I Question any one who says He or She is a Believer
and holds to Anti-_Semitism Romans ch 11,We Believers
have been Grafted into The Promises of God,The Jew is the
Natural Tree,The Jewish Race will have all their Land in upcomming 1000 yr Reign of Christ. The True Believer is the only Friend of them now.

Jews believe Jesus was a nice Jewish boy who lived about 2000 years ago. They definitely do not consider him a prophet, and they do not hate him.

Since Jesus did not fullfill any of the prophecies of the messiah, Jews do not believe that Jesus could have been the messiah.
Some of those prophecies are:
-World peace
-Riding into Jerusalem on a white donkey and rebuilding the holy temple
-Everyone in the world accepting and worshipping God

i guess in a way he denied and turned away from judiasim. although he was raised a jew and spoke with rabis. i'm not aware of way they consistently put down christians and their beliefs. i go to school with a lot of jewish kids and they go prancing around saying they're jewish and that they're so cool. also they say jesus is phony and was crazy and say a bunch of crap about god. none of our teachers say anything, but if any christian kids say anything against jews or their beliefs we're pulled into the office and suspended for like a week.

Jewish people do not think of J*sus. At least from a religious standpoint. He probably was a man who lived and was executed 2000 years ago, but he has no significance in the Jewish religion at all.
