i spent a long time working in a kichen and cooking in there and peeled a million eggs, the best way to do is rapidly cool, as soon as they are done, put them in cold water then put a bunch of ice in the water, after they eggs are cooled in 10 or 15 minutes then hit them on a bowl or counter and the shell should pop off in 2 pieces, easy as possible. just be fairly gentle

When the eggs are cooked as long as you like to do, drain and immediately put the pot under the cold water faucet and turn on the cold water. Let it run until the eggs are cooled down, this allows some shrinkage , crack the eggs with a spoon and they should come out all in one piece. Just be sure that they are cooled down enough. It may take a couple of times, but you will get the idea. Been there done that, Best wishes

First, to prevent eggshells from cracking, add a pinch of salt to the water before hard-boiling.
To shell the egg:
Gently tap both the top and bottom of the egg on your kitchen counter and run cold water over it.
Then roll the egg back and forth to crack and lift the shell away from the egg.
Run more cold water over the egg while peeling for extra help.
At this stage, you should be able to peel the entire shell easily.

I always chill my eggs first. I don't seem to have any problems with it. I just crack it onto the counter and roll it under my hand so that it's cracked all over and then peel the shell off. I know that store bought white eggs seem to peel better. The fresh farmers eggs are much harder to peel without breaking.
Good luck. Hope that helps ya.

Hi, there! Right after the eggs are cooked, I dump the hot water then cover the pot with tap water. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Then, when the eggs are cold enough to be handled, I gently crack the shell by slamming it gently then rolling the egg in my palm. Then, you are ready to peel off the shell. It works all the time for me.

Use older eggs, like right before the expiration date. After you drain them, give the pan a few good shakes to crack the shells and run cold water over them, then let them sit on the counter for 20 minutes to cool down. The shells should slip right off.

Rinse them in cold water. Keep rinsing till water is cool, then let them sit for an hour or so. Peel them under cold water. Fresh farm eggs do not peel well, use store bought. Also, if you shake them first before boiling them, it centers the yoke to make nice deviled eggs.

After boiling, immediately chill them in cold running water or ice water. Let the eggs cool completely before you peel them. I knock them gently against the counter and then roll them between my palms. Do it gently and you can get the shell off in a couple of big pieces

What I do is after the eggs are done cooking, I immediatley run cold water over them for about 45 seconds. Then I roll them around on the counter so the shell cracks all over, then just pull and the shell will come right off! Happy cooking! : )
