Your DI didn't "mean" anything, he was just assessing your progress toward becoming a productive member of the unit.

What does it take for one person to ask that about another? A greater concern for the success of the unit and the mission than for your hurt feelings. I suggest you try to emulate that outlook on life or become a civilian.

Seems to appear as though you were one giant FUBAR. Thousands and thousands have gone throuh Marine Training, and I have NEVER heard of anyone with such deep emotional scars. We combat Vets have seen and been through more than your 12 week experience, and we arent ranting like you. I suspect that your DI, saw from the beginning that you were Totally Fu@ked Up.
You obviously learned nothing at PI. If you are still in My Marine Corps, I think you need to get out, before you cause someone to die. Besides, you seem to be one very unhappy person.....
