The best thing to try in my opinion is watch their diet right before bedtime, try giving an early nap instead of a lat one, make sure they child has been stimulated most of the day, try playing relaxing music, make sure the baby is not hungry or has eating enough to last him through the night, try a warm milk bath with calming lotion after before bed. I tried these with my kids and it worked.

I would watch the naps. If you take the kid to daycare I would check and make sure that they aren't letting your child sleep all day hence it stays awake at night. I would also talk to your pediatrician for advice. If my son at that age woke up at night I would leave the lights off not to stimulate him. I would tell him it was time to go to sleep and put him back in his bed. Sometimes you have to just let them cry. If you get up everynight and get up with them they are going to learn that it is okay to get up in the middle of the night. Good luck! Hope you are sleeping through the night real soon!

Both my children slept through the night by 3 months old and one was a pre mature. Routine is the best things and do your best to stay on it. If you are still getting up every-time they call, they are smart and know you will, thats why they do it. My first son started getting up through the night for no reason just because, our Doctor told us to let him cry, I know its heart wrenching and my husband pretty much had to hold me down not to go get him, but its only took two nights and it was back to normal. Be strong! you can do it. Good luck

Be patient. Some children don't sleep through until they are 3...sorry!

keep a log on the activity that she does during the day and of what she eat also. and then if she is eating or taking a nap to late you have found why she don't want to sleep, you can also try to get her to be more active near bed time.

I had four. Only one of them started sleeping through the night that soon. You could try feeding her cereal at bedtime.
