The Old Testament is an account of the Jews. The peopled wanted to know how to be closer to God and to be good followers they wanted rules and structure. So God gave them rules on how to conduct their entire life. People do not like to follow rules it became tedious for them.

The New Testament cancels out the Old Testaments Laws and Rules by God sending his Son to create a way to have salvation without all the structure and rules by simpling believing that Jesus was the Son of God and died for our sins. This belief cancels out the need for the Old Testament laws.

The Crusades.... That's a whole nother issue. I think the people were mislead in what was important. And they were less educated. Modern Christians realize that Jews are still children of god... just in a different way.

Christianity is an honorable and correct religion as goes for every religion. The Bible holds mostly spiritual truths. They are just interpreted explanations for God's work. They do not hold scientific or historical truth. The Bible is correct in that it holds spiritual truth. This is just a wild guess, but you know how the Israelis pushed the Palestinians out of their land and claimed it for their own. Well, since there are many disputes between Muslims and Christians, don't you think that maybe Jews and Christians are both teaming up against Muslims for their own useful purposes.

The amazing thing about Christianity is that there is the old testament and new testament and yet they still convey the same message. This amazing book written over thousands of years through many people shows the same purpose and concepts. God is the creator of all. The trinity. Jesus is God's son and came down to save us from our sins. I only know of one Bible, but there are many books in it.
That whole crusade thing is getting really old. Why should modern Christians keep getting punished for what old "Christians" did years ago?

You have most all of your facts mixed up. Jews are not friends with Christians. During the crusades-catholics killed Christians, Jews, and Muslims. Get it right-or you will stay confused.

The Old Testament was the cultural history of the Hebrews.

Greece translated the Hebrew books into Greek and inadvertently created Jesus, because of the translation errors and by creating generations of Jews who knew only Greek language and culture.

Mormons and other sects were just created by deceptive men.
