The truth about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit

People who believe in the Trinity teaching say that God's consist of 3 persons - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Each of these persons is said to be equal to the others, almighty, and without beginning. According to the Trinity doctrine, threfore, the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God, yet there is only one God.

Many who believe the Trinity admit that they are not able to explain this teaching. Still, they may feel that it is taught in the Bible. It is worth noting that the word "Trinity" never occurs in the Bible. But is the idea of a Trinity found there? To answer this question, let us look what the Bible says…

All Christians in the world all use the same bible, and yet, they believe that Jesus is the God, (the Father, the Most High) except the Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses DO NOT believe Jesus is God, DO NOT believe Jesus is the father, because the bible says that Jesus isn

The word "Trinity" is never mentioned in the Bible. But it does appear in the ancient [pagan] religions.

"He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." -- Colossians 1:15

Compared to God, Jesus has a beginning.

“Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” --Matthew 24:36

If Jesus is really God than shouldn't he know the day?

"....If YOU loved me, YOU would rejoice that I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am." -- John 14:28

The Trinity says that the Father and the Son are equal, but the Bible says something totally different.

"I, for my part, baptize YOU with water because of YOUR repentance; but the one coming after me is stronger than I am, whose sandals I am not fit to take off. That one will baptize YOU people with holy spirit and with fire." -- Matthew 3:11

The holy spirit isn't a person, but a force (God's active force).

The worship of pagan gods (grouped in threes or triads) were common before Jesus was born. We can take as examples the trinitarian groups of Brahma, Siva, and Vishnu from the Indian religion and of Osiris, Isis, and Horus from the Egyptian religion.

I totally agree with what you are saying. You no it gets so frustrating that some people will not even look into it. I have looked into it both ways. I have found that it is imposable that they are all the same. Or even co-equal. Also I would just like to point out the head ship. It states that Christ head is God. Well this was written after Jesus went to heaven. So it has to do with the relationship between him and his father in heaven. Not when he (Jesus) was on earth. So why would Jesus have a head if he was Co-equal with God? The only one that doesn't have a head is Jehovah. That is because he is higher then any one else and doesn't have to answer to any one. He is the creator. Never said to have a beginning like his son. 1 Corinthians 11:3
Have a good day.

Yes

Matthew 24:36
Jesus would have known what his Father knew if he was God
But he didn't

John 14:28 - the Father is greater than the Son
John 1:18 - no man has seen God at any time (many saw Jesus)
John 17:3 - two personalities (no mention of the holy spirit)
Colossians 1:15-17 - Jesus had a beginning (firstborn)

An examination of the origins of the Trinity doctrine should be examined to get an unbiased view of the scriptures.
Triads of gods were worshiped long before Jesus came to the earth.

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians; they teach that Christ was and is divine and of the same nature as God.

Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe!

Jehovah's Witnesses love and respect and honor Christ. However, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father, out of whom all things are, and we for him

Thanks again for an opportunity to share what the bible actually says about the distinct persons of Jesus Christ the Son and Jehovah God the Father!

Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

"In the beginning was the Word." - Jesus existed at the time of the Begaining Gen 1:1.

"and the Word was with God" - Shows the seperation between Jesus being "with" his father. 1 Corinthians 8:6 shows there is only one God who is the Father, not the Son.

"and the Word was God." - Jesus "was" a God at some point of time but became human to fix the sin of Adam. Jesus therefore can not be the father also since he is no longer a God.

I believe it's yet another proof to the issues with the way the NT was produced, and proves how false the whole thing rings as a book of religion. L Ron Hubbard may have been a crazy guy, but his crazy religion at least is not contradictory in its "holy book"...

You're right, Jehovah as a pretty good guy but not near as great as my favorite Lugh. Now there's a real God. King of all the Celtic Gods.
Sure Woden is big and strong, but I'll still take Lugh. Jehovah doesn't even come close.

I don't believe that. You have a long question. The numbers that you quote are interesting and the latter part shows that you don't understand the godhead as it is spelled out in the Bible.
Remember that Jesus received worship and did things that only God could do. Look at what the apostles did when people worshipped them.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign the virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son and will call him Immanuel.

Immanuel means "God is with us".

I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
