I do not call it either. Although it is good that the secular world recognizes a certain day as the day Christ rose from the dead there is no way of knowing if Easter Sunday was the exact day he rose. Just as Christmas is not the exact day he was born. Every day should be a day of celebration that He was born, died for our sins, and rose from the dead. I'm not sure how the Easter bunny became part of this holiday as it makes absolutely no sense. Children I'm sure love to hunt for easter eggs and get that big basket of fake grass and little toys, but as far as this specific day being the day He rose no one is sure.

If I had to chose from the two choises you have presented I would most likely pick Easter Sunday for two reasons. One is there is a place in the bible which speaks of Easter and two, it is a day most families go to church regardless of how they believe. The sad thing, however, is people who rarely attend church use this day to buy new clothes just to be seen at church on this day. Not all of course, but I would say the majority for sure.

Well as an Atheistic Pagan I call it Easter....as all good pagans should. The christians should call it Resurrection Sunday....but they are too attached to all of our lovely pagan traditions. Behold the power of the Cadbury egg.

I call it Easter Sunday, strictly out of habit. In my heart I am celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, which was the ultimate defeat of Satan, as he died for out sins and saved us. This is the most incredible Christian holiday and the most important. Praise Jesus, my saviour.

I call it both. It is the day that Jesus rose from the grave and defeated death and Satan once and for all. It is also called Easter Sunday.
