Buy it as long as it Heinz

Why would you ask that? I think most households in America buy Heinz 57. Occassionaly, we all have leftotver packs from fast food joints. In other countries like Mexico and China you are encouraged to give back unused packs after you toss your plates. Next to the trays there's a bin for ketchup packs. It's a good way to keep costs low. In countries like Singapore and sometimes Australia the word becomes "CATSUP" . Here in the U.S., you can buy ketchup for very cheap almost year around. You can get it especially cheap at the $0.99 store (the brand will likely be Del Monte) at Costco (which sells a lot of it) or on sale at the popular supermarket chains during Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day etc. Don't expect to find the Grinch ketchup or the purple ketchup anymore. That Heinz campaign was a flop but fun for the moment. The biggest ketchup and chocalate headqaurters are found in guess what state? Of cource Pennsylvania! Always buy the plastic squeezable bottle. Be careful though never "marry" ketchup with other bottles beacuse gunky build up can cause Ptomaine poisining. If you must buy for example Heinz's glass bottle here's a trick. Shake well and tap bottle after lowering spout to 45° to serve easier versus shaking the entire bottle and making a complete mess. You can make homemade BBQ, A1 steak sauce, 1000 Island, Cocktail sauce with ketchup you figure out the rest!

One last thing.

Believe it or not Salsa is more widely sold here in the US now. Salsa has become more popular and comes in thousands of varieties. Oohhh SO SPICY!

I can talk about SALSA for days!

Hmm.. well, i do both. But i prefer to take ketchup packets from fast food restaurant. And if u ask me why, it's because somehow the ketchup packets fit my taste better. So whenever i order fast foods, i ask for a lot of ketchup packets :D

Buy ketchup! Those little packets are annoying, especially if you want more ketchup and you have to open like, six, to get the amount you want.

I've done both. But most of the time it comes out of a bottle I bought. But sometimes on the road I grab extra packets and store them in the pantry just in case I run out of the bought ketchup.
