Swimming would do both.
In order to lose fat you need to raise your metabolism. Any of the excersizes would be great. Make sure you get your heart rate up, excersize atleast 3 times a week and you'll slim down in no time!
Don't be shocked if after you start a fitness routine that you gain a few pounds- you would be building muscles up and that will burn more fat in the long run.
Good luck!

Exercises machines are nice but you need a routine to fallow.
To lose fat is to tone. It means light weights with high reps and high sets.
An easy way is to go for a walk and raise your knees and feet higher. It won't take you long before you fell the burn. Just a normal speed raising your knees and feet in a controlled manner. Make sure you do stretching before and after each walk. Stretch both arms and legs as well as your mid section.

the other answerer is right - swimming is best for you for a million reasons. it helps with weight loss, muscle toning, as well as things like lung capacity, and minimal injuries because your body is supported by the water.
you will lose weight with all of these, however...
Jogging - lose weight but does not tone or build muscles
Stair Master - tones legs, butt and lower core. however, you can get big muscles in thighs if you try too hard with it.
Swimming - all round great for you
Stationary Bike - basically same as jogging, unless you increase tension, in which case, same as stairmaster.
Elliptical Machine - depends on what you are doing on it (theres a million varitations of these things) but for the most part - not as good as other machines, but better than nothing. they provide light aerobic workout.

jogging, stairs, swimming and cycling are all aerobic exercises that will burn fat, and improve your muscle tone.
do keep in mind that the body begins to use fat as an energy source only after at least 30 minutes of activity. So pick something you enjoy doing, and that you can keep on doing for at least 45-60 minutes to get good results. good luck!

losing fat and toning is the exact same thing. the best exercise for "you" to increase fat loss is the one that you are most efficient at performing. when you are efficient at an exercise you can train at a higher level of intensity. training at a high level of intensity increases the metabolic rate for hours after the training session. the body will utilize more energy from blood sugar during training and after it will increase the amount of energy that is utilized from stored fats.
which ever exercise you choose, put the focus of training on the amount of work that is being performed in the alloted training time. so if today you jog for 8 miles in 60 minutes in a month you should be jogging 8.15 miles in the same 60 minutes, in 2 months 8.5 miles, etc. when the amount of "work" that is being performed increases the body is becoming more efficient. this is how you increase the resting metabolic rate. this methodology applies to both cardiovascular and resistance training

Any of these will do the trick. The key is being consistent and patient. Also incorporate 3 days of weight training for increased muscle mass (mon, wed, fri). You'll get there.

swimming would be the best answer of the choices U gave, the most calorie burning exercise would be sex!
In my opinion it is the most enjoyable calorie burner also. A close second(third) would be bicycle riding. Along with swimming it is a non impactive means of calorie burn.
