Tell him that on Judgment Day

The Church didn't want Easter to end up on top of the solstice because it has long been a pagan holiday. They concocted some ludicrous calculation to place the commemoration of Jesus' resurrection on the Sunday after the full moon after the solstice (or something silly like that).

In Acts12:4 the King James version uses the word easter instead of Passover. The denominational folks like to add to the Word of GOD and take away from IT also. The Bible no where says that we are to set aside a certain day to remember Christ's birth, but tells us of his miraculous virgin birth. (Matthew 1) Neither does IT says to keep the Passover except for the Jews of the old testament but Christ nailed it to His cross. (Galatians 3:22-26) My question is why would they take away from GOD's Word, like Mark 16:16 when Christ said "He who believes and is baptized will be saved;" (1 believe 2 baptized 3 salvation ) They say that baptism is not necessary for salvation; you do the math. We are to remember Christ's death every first day of every week, He instituded the Lord's Supper (Matthews 26:26-29)(I Corinthians 11:20-29) read and study your Bible.

Jesus doesn't rise from the dead every year. He was crucified once & rose from the dead once.

Nothing is wrong, it never needed to have a sacred day for Good Friday or Easter.

Naturally the actual day of His death and Resurrection float, just like your birthday.
Both have to do with the Jewish calendar and Passover.
