College Park is in southwest Atlanta, just inside the beltway at I-85.

College Park is actually a very nice neighborhood just north of the airport in Fulton County. Parts of it are "unsafe", but that's the case with any transitioning neighborhood. Other parts, especially the areas around Woodward Academy have some gorgeous Arts and Crafts style new homes going up, tree-lined boulevards, southern style front porches, and surprisingly good shopping, both large retail and intimate neighborhood shops. Property values are continually raising and the city is on the Georgia Historical Registry, so it's well protected from unchecked expansion.

College park is south by the airport. Not exactly a safe place, but many rappers and r&b artists are from there. Its still the hood, for many. and I wouldnt go down there as I think its rather unsafe.
