I have been sick for like a week now, I know the difference between feeling like I have the stomache bug, and having something else. My mother bought me lactaid milk, but this time it was in a gallon plastic container. I usually buy it in the cardboard carton. Can someone get a parasite from that? Or they just grow because of what we eat. I have been really dizzy lately, and I had an attack the other night. Where I was sweating, and shaking so bad, it only lasted for 5 minutes if that. I was thinking I could have a blockage in my colon because I have the bad poop, but I'm constipated too. My stomache and my intestins keep making noises. So I understand it's bug, but could it be a parasite? How do I rid myself of this?

Please see a doctor. If you do have a parasite, the only way to get rid of it is via medical intervention...after a diagnosis has been made.

BTW, chances of a parasite from lact-aid milk would be extremely unlikely as it is a man-made product...no milk is involved. The container it is in has nothing to do with getting a parasite.

If you have been sick for a week, it is time to see a doctor anyway. Chances are it really is just an intestinal illness...they can hang on for a week or two...but anytime they last this long, they need to be checked out. Please see a doctor.

The symptoms of a parasite depend on the parasite but common symptoms are:
constipation
anemia
diarrhea
muscle aches and pains
gas
joint aches and pains
bloating
irritable bowel
allergies
nervousness
skin conditions
granulomas
sleep problems
chronic fatique
teeth grinding
immune system disorders

However, it is not wise to diagnose yourself. Please see a doctor!
