People fight out of misunderstanding and ignorance, if each major religion was to allow its followers to do comparative religious studies show that they would find there was no reason to fight at all. After all the major religions all believe essentially in the same concepts, do good or at least do no harm. Love your brother, don't be unfaithful to your wife and so on... how can any miss get angry at that? Of course some fundamental religious practice is take a truth in court and into evil, justifying killing, hatred, and prejudice. For these people hatred is a natural reaction for all of us, however perhaps our reaction should be one of pity.

that's a good question. Why do people want to kill and persecute Christians even if we believe Jesus Christ is the only Lord and Savior? Why are people of other religions not secure in what they believe to the point they want to shut us up or kill us? Then there must be something to it. Most people are not bothered by things which they don't believe in. So if other religions don't believe in our God, why do they have such a problem with us. The truth is some religions are inspired by demons which are fighting against the knowledge of Jesus Christ. And they want to shut the mouth of Christians. Moses himself wrote that the people of the world worship demons in Dueteronomy.

That doesn't really make sense. It's like saying 'everyone thinks we should have a government, so what difference does it make if it's conservative or liberal?' Although most religions believe in a 'saviour' of some sort, they don't all believe in the same saviour. Also, just because all religions believe something doesn't make it true.

There can be only one Savior of the World. The question to answer is WHO has fulfilled God's requirements to be that Savior? There lies the argument.

Many people believe that their way is the one and only true and right way. I have even met Wiccans who have that attitude. Lots of people have this need to be right all the time. They fight about the little things. It's silly really. Why do you think there are so many differnt forms of Christianity and Wicca? Each time someone in the group didn't agree they split off and formed their own group.

If you are allowed only one try, and there are only 2 possible destinations --one very positive, & one negative-- but while there is only one way to get to the Positive destination, there are also hundreds or thousands of routes to the Negative destination ... don't you think it would Pay to make sure that you Know for Sure that you are on the right road? (Remember ... there is no second chance.)

Recall what Jesus said about the Christian way:

“Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.” --Matthew 7:13, 14

Good point. The reaons all religions believe in a Saviour is because they all come from the same source and are stages in one process of Divine Revelation. Buddhists are waiting for the Maitreya, Hindus for Kalki Avatar, Jews for the Messiah, Christians for the Comforter and Return of Christ, Muslims for the Mahdi and Return of Christ, Zoroastrians for the Shah-Bahram (Saoshyant), etc.

I believe all these prophecies were fulfilled by Baha'u'llah, the Promised One of all ages! :)

Not all religions believe in a savior. As far as argument is concerned, whether or not you believe us, we argue against what we believe to be harmful lies, much as the atheists who argue against us religious types for the same reason.

I am a believer, but I tend to use my reason too. I know that many other people from many other faiths are like me. The majority of people can accept other faiths and, like me, can even find a spiritual great consistency in other faiths: God shows his way in different manner. Unfortunately, the fundamentalists are always the ones who make more noise.

there are other things that are also major. each religion has a different way of life to live. some rules are the same...some aren't. although, i do agree that the fighting is stupid...it is going to lead us to our doom...and then there will be a judgement day.
