I would think that California, who tries to be the leader in environmentalism, is a huge hypocrite when it comes to water. They have to steal it from Nevada and pipe it over the mountains.

It is a good thing that LA built it early last century because they sure wouldn't be able to do so now (with the likes of Susan Surandan tying herself to the boulders that would have to be moved).

Can it be done? Certainly - but it is not cheap.

Will it be done? Probably not because the CA legislature listens only to Earth First and the Sierra Club (when they are not taking bribes from Big Business or trying to enact minimum wage exemptions from American Samoa Tuna Canneries).

it's very expensive to do but it can be done it's being done already in Kuwait,they seem to have perfected the process, it's an evaporation system
