Hello everyone,
I have a scar under my lip which I had since i was a little kid. It happened when i was eating mangoes, and i guess it wasn't ripe and it kind of burned my skin. I was OK with it till now, but since i'm almost 18, I started to be very self conscious the way i look. I havent used any products, so i dont know if anything will work.
Thanks in advance.

It is strange that you should get a scar from eating mangoes, the fruit of kings ; scientists and beauticians have now concluded that mangoes can be beneficial in healing, and removing scars.

I have no idea but make sure you are not allergic to mango like I am. I just touch one, which I have only done once. Broke out in a severe rash on both arms and face and eyes swelled shut. More people are allergic to mango than realize so be careful.

DON'T do plastic surgery for that! Definately check out makeup -- it doesn't sound like it would be too difficult to cover in that area. If you don't feel comfortable with that solution, see a dermatologist. Doctors have all kinds of remedies for things and surely would have one for your scar.

thats quite a scare... as i absolutely love mangoes... anyways... i think it is about time... u dip into the moisturising cream. you cud try a home remedy that i usually use for scarrin from spots,... rub a lemon peel over ur scar every day before wash.... its not guaranteed... but give it a try... it doesnt have any adverse effects

if it is very small than you can use a scar-lightening cream like Mellalite ; otherwise go for plastic surgery.

I think you should use some cover-up; cover-up will cover up the scar and if you rub it enough it will blend in

don't do a plastic surgery like mcmohan4… told you to do if its light then use a little bit of makeup on it. if its big then go to your doctor and ask him/her for something to use always go to your doctor for things like that they always have the best solutions!
