I know of a hole you can try to pull a trout of. I have tried every angle and approach I can think of to try to get one of them. this hole contains anywhere from 10-15 browns, at least the length of my forearm. Even crawling up so that the only thing protruding out over the water was the tip of my pole. I have shown this spot to other fly fishermen. Nobody seems to be able to finesse these fish. I am beginning to think these trout are trout food connoisseurs. About the only thing I have not and will not throw at them is the illegal fishing stick. I figure one of them will get a rise out of these trout. The only tug on my line came after I put a wolf spider on the hook and drifted it into the hole. My hook came back bare.

I would choose lakes, unless it's a man made lake then I'd choose rivers because if the rivers are flowing down from the mountain they would be fresh. So then I'd choose rivers.

Since i have the Allegheny River in my backyard so to speak i will have to say rivers. Rivers you can see where to fish as lakes you must have all the electronics to tell you where to fish.

Neither. I have absolutely no luck in fresh water, I stick to the brackish water of the Indian River Lagoon and it's little feeder creeks. Nothing like redfish, flounder, snook, seatrout, etc., for the dinner table.

I prefer to no longer eat fish.I grew up beside the sea.We had a fishing boat and all we ever looked as though it could eat replaced into fish.i could watch them being gutted.no longer friendly for a baby to observe, exceedingly whilst they have been alive from time to time.Yuk,it provides me shivers merely questioning approximately it.I even have had my honest share of sea fish,in fact I even have had adequate fish to final me a life-time.
