Being a former chef from Canada with 20 yrs in the trade, when inteviewing I looked for some one who was genuinely interested in the way food is prepared, had worked in similar operations and also someone who had worked the various stations and in other styles of hotel/restaurant operations.

Have dinner there or if they have a copy of the menu posted outside the restaurant/hotel look at the menu items and see if they are things your familiar with, or if they have a website, do as much research as possible, also find out the chefs name and see if you have worked with someone who knows him/her, this will give you an idea about his/her methods and temperment.

They'll probably quiz you on cuts of meat, the five mother sauces, even right down to how to make a simple syrup. And then about how to handle employees, situations, food pairings, and sanitation practices. They'll probably ask why you want to work there, and why you think you'd be a good fit, and what you can bring to the college. They may ask what you know about the college, and what your hobbies are. They may even test you by having you make something right there on the spot with only some ingredients to see how creative you are.

Good luck! I was suprised by a phone interview from the Culinary Institute once and I was not prepared. I think I really screwed up on my food and wine pairings. Obviously I didn't get the job.

I really hope you have some kind of cooking experience. No offense, but if your application looks anything like your question, then you're not going to get hired. Make sure you spell correctly and don't abbreviate words.

Make sure you are squeaky clean, especially the hands. And dress neatly.
