I cannot give you the exact number of times, but there are many. Below are some.
1.) Mat 16:21 From that time began Jesus to show unto his disciples, that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
Mat 16:22 And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall never be unto thee.
Mat 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art a stumbling-block unto me: for thou mindest not the things of God, but the things of men.
2. ) Mat 17:22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be delivered up into the hands of men;
Mat 17:23 and they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised up. And they were exceeding sorry.
3.) Mat 20:17 And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples apart, and on the way he said unto them,
Mat 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and scribes; and they shall condemn him to death,
Mat 20:19 and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify: and the third day he shall be raised up.
4.) Mat 27:62 Now on the morrow, which is the day after the Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered together unto Pilate,
Mat 27:63 saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again.
Mat 27:64 Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest haply his disciples come and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse than the first.
5.) Luk 9:22 saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.
6. ) Luk 18:31 And he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all the things that are written through the prophets shall be accomplished unto the Son of man.
Luk 18:32 For he shall be delivered up unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon:
Luk 18:33 and they shall scourge and kill him: and the third day he shall rise again.
7. ) Luk 24:19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people:
Luk 24:20 and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.
Luk 24:21 But we hoped that it was he who should redeem Israel. Yea and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things came to pass.
Luk 24:22 Moreover certain women of our company amazed us, having been early at the tomb;
Luk 24:23 and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
Luk 24:24 And certain of them that were with us went to the tomb, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
Luk 24:25 And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
Luk 24:26 Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory?
8, ) Luk 24:46 and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;
Luk 24:47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Now, I understand that some of the statements are the same but mentioned by different gospel writers and persons. Nevertheless, Jesus did mention his own death before it occured.

Here are three:
"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father— and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life— only to take it up again." John 10:14-17
Mark 8:31 "Jesus then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again."
Luke 9:22 Jesus said, "The Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life."

"See, we are going up to Jerusalem. Everything written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled. For he will be handed over to the Gentiles and will be mocked, insulted, and spit on.
