Is sleep apnea considered a mental or physical disablity?Apt app requires PHYSICAL disability?

Is sleep apnea/bipolar/ocd...and of those considered PHYSICAL disability (as opposed to psychiatrict). I want to apply for an apartment, but it says you must have a physical disability....

sleep apnea is very definitely a physical disability
the others are mental ,but your councilor should be able to help you get an apartment,as this disables a person too

Sleep Apnea is not a physical disability...it's a sleep disorder. My father has it and evidently i have some very minor case of it as well, even though I don't meet ANY of the criteria for it!

Bipolar and OCD are considered mental disorders...not physical disabilities.

My husband was diagnosed with that about 6 months ago, I don't see sleep apnea as being considered a physical disability persay?, and I certainly don't see an apartments application process as accepting it as a disability of any kind..sorry?

i think of those with actual disabilities probable see those with psychological disabilities the way something of society does: as helpless people who're a burden on society. it rather is fairly fairly unhappy, because of the fact even though if it fairly is actual or psychological, it continues to be a incapacity. regardless of the undeniable fact that, incapacity isn't lack of ability, and having a incapacity, even though if actual or psychological, shouldn't provide up human beings from pursuing their targets. all and sundry has a contribution to make in society, consisting of individuals with disabilities. and that i think of those with disabilities, and something of society, could seem previous the incapacity and concentration on the character of the guy, and what the guy can fairly do, no longer on what they do no longer seem to be waiting to do.

Sleep disorders are usually treated by psychiatrists. I would say that it is not a physical disability.
