Actions can fool you. Have you ever been stabbed in the back. You think you are witnessing love when in fact it is not. How do you tell the difference between an act of love and an act of duty. And love certainly can't be measured.

The Bible as history tells you what others have personally experienced.

Just as you "know" that George Washington was the first President under the U.S. Constitution, or that Sir Edmund Hillary climbed to the top of Mount Everest; so too, can you know the events that occurred in the Bible are true.

They are eyewitness accounts.

You use faith all the time. You know the sun is a big ball of gas because you have faith someone studied it long enough and had the knowledge to conclude that. When you get on a plane, you have faith in the pilot's skills. You didn't see or measure his skills. You had to trust others to do that. Everyday you exercise faith. Think about it today.

You believe in love, don't you? You believe in forgiveness? Or how about truth? You see signs of these things, just like religious see signs of their gods around them. But you can't really SEE the thing itself.
I rest my case.

How about evolution? You can't measure evolution and you can't see it, but scientists demand we believe it and you'll be labeled "ignorant" if you don't.
