I used to have a 48 1/2-ton and the chassis were very similar. I believe mine was 4.5" x 5 - same as the Chrysler passenger cars and many Ford 5-lug cars as well.

You can measure your existing pattern by measuring from the center of one stud, skip a stud, and to the far side of the third stud. It really works...

The tightening pattern would be 1-3-5-2-4

Most cars and trucks in '56 had the 5 hole on 4.5" centers, but the B series trucks had a 5 hole 5" pattern.
