Please don't say George Bush. It's obviously not him. I'm thinking it is the current President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

It could also be the Ayatollah of Iran or Pope Benedict XVI. Remember, some religious figures have claimed that John Paul II may have been one of the last Popes.

And how will he reveal himself?

I believe it will be a little person, at this time, who will become the anti-christ. Someone in the Middle East that thinks like Osama Bin Laden but has more money and power. Not necessarily a Muslim. This anti-christ will start WW III in the Middle East and it will spread to the entire world. Maybe from Iran or Syria. Maybe Egypt or another African country. Whoever it is will use one or two nuclear weapons to begin the war and force the major countries of the world to ally either with them or against them. It is only a matter of time before the terrorists use a nuclear device that will trigger WW III. And this maybe the act of a current world leader but in a clandestine way.

Remember that the US, Russia, China, India, Pakistan and Israel have enough nuclear weapons to totally destroy the earth numerous times over.

Anti-Christ is not a fleshly man. He's supernatural and is cast out at the 6 th trumpet.

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

We aren't there yet.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

He will look just like Jesus, but is the dragon.

Hello, Ikkjd:

Jesus told us there would be many false Christ's and many false prophets, and Satan has inflluenced many leaders.

Concerning a specific antichrist, I suggest you read 2 Thessalonians again and note that Satan himself will be sitting in the temple of God, professing to be God.

In other words, Satan will come here in his shiny apparel and deceive everyone, except those who keep God's commandments (Revelation 12:17; 14:12).

There is an Online publication that reveals the identity of Antichrist, and Satan's last-day deceptions in a Bible code at www.revelado.org/revealed.htm

Blessings and peace, OneWay

He is not that stupid. Leaders come and go. The anti-christ will be the advisor to the leader. He will be the man behind the scenes pulling the strings. When one leader falls he steps in and councils the next one. The anti-christ wouldnt be so bold as to stand up and risk being knocked down himself. As for were is he? I also think that he is in the middle east. Whenever you have too much religious zeal you open the door for the devil. "When a man cannot think on his own he will become the puppet of the devil who uses the words of God for his own purposes."--Dis Dain Vol. One

When referring to the word anti, in the Greek it means against or instead of. There are many anti-Christ in the world today, meaning there are many that are against Christ. The anti-Christ to come, the instead of one will not be any human. It will be satan himself come to "play" his last role. The Bible tells us that he comes in peacefully and prosperously and that he will LOOK like the lamb of God, (Jesus) but he will speak like the dragon. Dragon is another name of satan. I do believe that Iran will have something to do with the "ushering in" of the anti-Christ. The Bible tells us that that the anti-Christ will work wonders that will deceive the world and IF possible even Gods elect; but I do believe that the elect will know him (the anti-Christ) for the abomination he is and will not be swayed or deceived by him. Also , his(satans) number being 666 is an indication to us that he comes at the sixth trump. The true Christ returns at the last, the seventh trump.

When we look for the "antiChrist" in a specific human body, we are blind to the fact of the parts of all humanity that behave in an un-Christly manner.

All of us need to take the logs out of our own eyes so that we may see clearly to remove the speck from another's.

And, by the way, I do believe that Omar al-Bashir of Sudan is far worse than either Bush or Ahmadinejad. In Sudan, rape and slavery and starvation are daily weapons of war. Do you know that people are being literally crucified in Sudan right now? Yes, they actually nail people up on crosses and wait for them to die.

The pope could very well be the anti-christ. The Catholic church, though well meaning I'm sure, has some very un-christian ideas that are in no way supported in scripture.....the infalability of the pope, praying to Mary and the saints etc.... What better way to undermine true Christianity than to pose as Christians, but use faulty doctrin.

Ahmadinejad is an idiot. He certainly isn't a world leader. If it wasn't for the fact that she isn't a world leader, I'd say Mrs. Clinton. Really, there are no world leaders now with enough influence to be the Antichrist.

The first person I thought of is Bush. I have to stick with him. Ignorance and religion = George Bush.

I don't believe in the antichrist, god, or satan but Bush _would_ be the obvious choice for 'the father of lies' since YOU obviously didn't see it coming (which I think was a part of the whole prophecy?)

For a peace-loving christian he sure seems to have spent most of his presidential years being at war.
