From what I remember, not many boys are even interested in girls at the age of 12. They're more into things like video games, and sports, and whatever a normal 12 year old likes to do.

But I mean, some are. I guess. And if you are flirting with him, he probably has no clue, because again, he's only 12. And he's probably never experienced that before, thus he wouldn't be able to tell.

I'd think he is a bit too young to actually get it. He might just think you're a nice girl who just wants to be his friend.

And maybe it's just the fact that you haven't seen him in awhile that's bringing all these emotions back for you. In time they might just fade away once you've started hang around guys you're own age again.

And like I said, he's 12, he probably doesn't even know that you're even trying to send him any messages.

IMHO he isn't too young. I believe girls that age might be, but that is because they take longer to get over stuff (I'm stereotyping here but it's usually true), i think guys are at a good age for just light fun dating around then. I know a 14 year old girl who has been going with a 12 year old for a couple months now and she's still really into him... jus don't expect it to be the same kind of relationship as you would have with someone around your age or older.

Well, I don't think you really need to worry about the age difference..rather your feelings. Is it really HIM that you're into or some idea he might represent, like a steady boyfriend or something. Why don't you organize something like pizza night, or bowling with a bunch of your friends. Try to start hanging out with him more, in group settings, so you can figure out your feelings. Maybe he reminds you of an ex, have you been single for a while and are ready for more? I think, once you spend more time around him, your feelings will become clearer. And if you really do have feelings for him, go for it. Two years is no biggie.

If you like him and you like the way he responds to the things you do with him then he obviously isnt too young. Well in age he might be too young but probably not in him personality. You are thinking about him because you probably have a small crush on him. And as for sending the wrong message to him, just follow your heart! =]

i think he mite be a little to young wait untill he turns 13 to ask him out, u mite be thinking bout him alot because u guys r very close and u do have feelings for him ur just afraid to vocalize them(trust me i kno im havin the same problem here) no ur not sending him the wrong message because as of now he's taking everything u tell him in a friendship way he wont start thinking of it as the other way until u tell him u like him which i think u shouldnt do until he turns 13 when ur sure that he is a teen and he is deffinatly going to be wanting 2 and allowed to date girls =)

2yrs isnt that much, i once had a girlfriend who was 8yrs senior my age.

but that didnt last long. very soon she grew tired because she wanted to be more independant and more confident with herself.

You are now 14yrs old. I believe your studies and education is far more important than any other distractions.

And this is infatuation from what i can see. Temporary feelings thats all.

You will get over it sooner or later, what you need is time and some distractions for you to study better and ignore him well.

Study is way more important than anything, and trust me, you will get to meet better, more good looking and mature guys when you go college.

yes, hes to young for this. your thinking about him because you feel that he is more then just a friend. and yes, at his age he more then likely wont even get the message that you may like him. also you are a little young yourself to get involved with just 1 boy. just enjoy him for the friend he is and in a couple of years if things evolve into more then just friends then go for it.

you are both young... and you will see it more clear as you get older.. 12 or 14 are still very young.
if you like him, then enjoy his friendship... later in life the 2 years gap will not matter.. for now, just enjoy having him around
Good luck

Sorry, not that HE is too young, in fact you two are both too young to get involve in a relationship.

Girl, concentrate in studies, if not, you'd regret when you leave school.

Take care!
