Not all women are the same.
I don't like shopping, only get what I need, with the occaissional treat. My ex never appreciated that :)
Write up a budget, giving her and yourself a fair and just allowance and stick to it. Then the money (bank balance) shouldn't have too many ebbs and flows.
Some women use spending money as a 'comfort', replacing something that may be lacking in their lives (whatever that might be).
My kids seem to think that I have a continually regenerating money tree (no make that a forest) in the back yard :) But I remind them that we have a severe drought at the moment and the tree has wilted :)

Being a Husband and Wife is a partnership....
one is not a child and the other the parent ......
Treat your wife like an adult and share the family financal situation with her...She must feel like an adult with responsibility toward financil security, if you expect her
to act that way.

Sorry to break it to ya honey --- but your wife isn't doing anything YOU'RE not letting her. You either got her spoiled to where she's used to getting her ways or.........
you must have known the type of person you married before getting married. Unless you didn't take the time to get to know her before marrying her. You just got whipped - and hurried up married her. But even if thats not the case: if she was like that before the marriage -- you must have known what you were getting yourself into. So.......stop complaining.

Through out the history, there are only two categories of people---those who earn money and those who spend money.. Nothing wrong in that . Keep supplying money for shopping.

She should get her own money. I never spend money on a woman unless she would do the same for me, this isn't the 50"s anymore woman can work.

have her get a job to have spending money... while your money pays the bills and goes to savings and food and stuff like that but as far as shopping for extras and not the necessities then she needs to get a job....
