I dont like ebay too. I have experience about few things on ebay and decided not to go there. Bought a mobile and till today neither can sell it nor can use it. Its blocked and i could not find seller till today. Regarding car there are loads of things and i dont recomend to buy such a expensive thing on ebay. I know for myself if i cant sell on anywhere then sell it on ebay.
however regarding car there are many free website where you can try. like http://www.car-sale.org.uk
But be remember whenver you sell it on any of website, wherever you sell try to give as much as decription and images of your product. Buyer will only attract to the product if he can see its pictures and understand best from your decription. Thats my advice.

Probably as safe if not safer than most other private sales. Go for a seller with good feedback, look at well made adverts with lots of info. If possible look before bidding. Finally be realistic. The ones that get caught out on ebay are the ones trying to get cars for a fraction of their value (the ones that get caught out and conned thinking they will buy a £20k porsche for £5k deserve to be conned). If a car is too cheap its likely a con or the cars a dog that the seller cant sell localy.

safe enough i reckon. Make sure you view the car and do the same checks you would do with any other car you were going to buy privately.Use the feedback. If something is really cheap there is probably something wrong.
