Do men prefer, blondes, brunnetees or red heads?

Question

I heard lots of men hate women with red hair and as you can see from my avator I have red hair! Just wondered what hair colour men prefer and why?

Just for the record I am a natural red head.

By asking this question I wasn't being racist so am adding blondes/brunettes/redhaids or people with black hair.

My partner has black hair or so it seemed until when the light shone on it i realised it was very dark brown.

You go girl! Redheads rock! I'm a natural redhead. It is the most rare haircolour. We have a reputation for being fiery (hey, I resemble that remark! Tee hee!) and we are revered in some countries, feared in others because we are so rare. Lilith, the beautiful mystical succubus that slips into men's dreams & steals their spirits, is a redhead.

But that being said, in my experience, they prefer blondes. I had a spell where I wanted to see how the other half lives. I dyed my hair blonde. I had never been hit on so much in my life! Ordinarily I'm a pale redhead but I took a year as a blonde & put on self-tanner. When I look back at pictures it's like a different person! On my best week I had dates with 5 different hot young guys. I was propositioned for a menage a trois with two men (which I politely declined! Though a little devil on my left shoulder was whispering: Do the math!) As a tanned blonde, I turned heads walking down the street. The attention was almost uncomfortable. & I realized a lot of men are stupid. They see blonde hair & boobs & think you're easy. They would see the package & assume I was a vacuous nymphomaniac when the truth was I was (am) an intelligent rather conservative old fashioned Catholic girl. A goody two shoes who doesn't drink or smoke, who never tried drugs & who doesn't sleep around (if you're not in my heart, you don't get into my pants! I don't believe in casual sex. Has to be love.) Anyway, I finally got sick of being a blonde, plus it was turning my hair to straw so I let it grow off & cut it all off & am a natural auburn-haired girl now.

Last time I went for a haircut, a blonde sitting next to me said "that's a beautiful colour!" & the hairdresser told her "& can you believe it's natural! *****!"

I'll never dye it again. Why change perfection?

Gentlemen don't prefer blondes. Sexist pigs prefer blondes. Gentlemen prefer redheads & brunettes! I think black hair is really cool too.

Some men prefer blondes but end up getting married to a brunette or red head that eventually end up dyeing their hair blonde anyway. Silly really because most blondes have dye'd hair anyway and too silly to realise it. Aisscchhh!!!

I think men prefer blondes, because they look bright and happy like the Sun. They imagine, it's going to be all romance and glamour and no 'boring' problems that they're going to be burdened with. A person with no problems doesn't exist, just think off Marylin Monroe, and what a fruit cake she was.

personally i have always found tall blonde girls particularly attractive- no iodea why, perhaps my first crush was on a blonde girl?

however, certainly for me and i think many others, its not just one thing about a girl, its the whole package, if her hair colour goes with the rest of her- personality, dress sence, type of person etc etc it doesn;t bother me at all. if "it" (it being the whole person) works, it works

for an example my last GF had dark brown hair and we were together almost 2 years. Her hair colour suited her nicely :)

i dont think men hate women with red hair, no idea where that comes from. they do say traditionally that women with red hair have fierey/feirce tempers- perhaps its this stereotype that puts them off?

i slightly more anal answer may be the caveman in us sees red hair as a sign or danger, or as a ginetic weakness (red hair makes hiding in the bushes from predators harder) in a potential mate which puts us off.

I think most men will say blonde's. Its not because blonde's have more fun its just that they tend to get noticed as they stand out more. To be honest hair is not the issue its the person that counts.

I think you women get way caught up in this, to the point of dyeing and redyeing, thinking it matters to us in some great way.

Well, it doesn't.

We prefer good posture. A wonderful smile. And kindness.

If this is about what's going to impress us, then go with your natural hair color, whatever that might be. If it's about your own fun in life, then do whatever you want. But don't do it for us. Do it for yourself. It'll show.

Red heads are hotter looking for sure. Some men will hate the other hair colors too. I like all hair color, But red is more rare.

Wow I've always seen the opposite. Men love redheads, it has something to do with the myth about them being fiery in bed.
Honestly every man is different and attracted to different things. If not we would all be screwed.

I'm writing for this for my husband. He says "Blondes are like ornaments and although nice to look at and have on your arm, but they are not for the long haul. They also look high-maintenance". "Don't like red heads, no offense to you". "Preference is brunettes and something about how both blonde and red comes out in brunettes anyway, it's like the best of all colors".

It shouldnt matter what colour of hair you have. But men usually go for blondes.
