Yeah, come on, I'm with Lajoie... this is your homework, it seems, and okay granted it's an assignment to write some poetry and you may be like me, where poetry doesn't just flow forth. But you've got to give it a shot, for your own sake, and the sake of you learning something.

I think the first thing to do is to look up these words if you don't already know what they mean, and get creative. Just as an example (I won't go through them all, but just to give you a boost) parler means "to talk/speak" so... what kinds of phrases can you come with to use "to speak"? (not too hard, right?)

Actually in this case, given that you're assigned to write poetry, and given that you have this perfect set of -er verbs, all of which rhyme with each other (at least in their final syllable) you could go the route where you use them all at the end of the sentence in their infinitive form. But I assume that your teacher won't want that... if I were your teacher, I probably wouldn't. :P

My advise is: use your dictionary, and get creative!

If you were my student I would fail you...God put some effort...use your dictionary...and your prior knowledge...don't shirk your responsibility as a language student...we teachers know when you don't do the work and if you take the answer of the poster above me even the most liberal teacher won't forgive you...Certainly you don't know who Lamartine is and you have no idea what he's saying....and the other poster who used the imperfect tense...do you even know what the imperfect tense is!

Just submit the list as it is and recite it wearing a black polo neck (whilst smoking gauloise).

Nous parlons à un sans-abri
qui chante un vers de Lamartine.
Danser, c'est nager dans les ombres
qui mangent de l'excrément.
Ecoutons le vers du sans-abri
qui regarde les enfants jouants.

Quand je te regarde....
Nous dansions sous les étoiles...
Je jouais de l'amour...
Sans toi, je ne mange plus, je ne parle plus..
Quand j'écoute ta voix...
